I am a certified teacher, as well as a psychologist. I have focused my career on supporting children and youth. I believe the primary systems in a child's life are their family and school. I've worked for decades in different roles with different populations (at-risk youth, divorce/separation, special needs, gifted learners, learning challenges). Currently, I primarily focus my practice on supporting children and youth to better understand their learning, while supporting parents better understand their children's functioning and needs. When an individual's strengths and needs are known, it increases confidence, competence, and the capacity for success.
